What you can expect

Come along to Featherdale Wildlife Park to meet Australia’s happiest animal, the Quokka on an interactive animal encounter you’ll remember forever. Join animal keepers for a behind the scenes tour that will take visitors inside the Quokka enclosures. Have your videos and photos taken as you get up close and personal with these energetic and excitable animals.

Participants will also receive a professional photo keepsake of their time with the Quokkas. The Quokka Encounter is available daily at 11.30am or 12pm and entry tickets to Featherdale Wildlife Parks must be purchased separately. Reserve your spot here to meet the Quokkas.

Additional Information
  • All children 15 years and below must be accompanied by a paying adult encounter ticket and it is the responsibility of the adult to supervise the child at all times
  • The animal welfare is to be determined by the Featherdale Wildlife Park keeper at all times, and the keeper reserves the right to cease the encounter at any time
  • All Participants must be able to follow all instructions given by the Featherdale Wildlife Park keeper throughout the Encounter, and you agree to act at all times in a safe and appropriate manner
  • A minimum of 7 days notice is required prior to your encounter for any changes made to your booking
  • Encounter tickets are non-refundable
  • Guests must be at the meeting point 1 hour prior to the start of the encounter
  • Featherdale recommends arriving to the park a minimum of 30 minutes prior to this experience
  • Guests will meet a keeper at the meeting point where they will be given a safety brief and introduction to the encounter before entering the enclosure

  • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
  • Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
